PhD application & registration

Please follow the below instruction if you would like to apply for a PhD position under the DCB Graduate Program:

Find a supervisor who is ready to offer you a position in his research group. The following link will lead you to the website where all research groups of the department are listed: http://www.dcb.unibe.ch/content/forschung/forschungsgruppen/index_eng.html .
As soon as a supervisor is ready to employ you, you have to follow the application procedure described on the following websites:
- For applicants with a foreign master’s degree or an equivalent degree http://www.zib.unibe.ch/content/internationals/bewerbung/doktorat/index_eng.html .
- For applicants with a master’s degree from a Swiss university or federal institute of technology: http://www.zib.unibe.ch/content/studieninteressierte/bewerbung/doktorat/index_eng.html
- For applicants with a master’s degree from the University of Berne http://www.zib.unibe.ch/content/unibe_studierende/anmeldung_zum_doktorat/index_eng.html
Normally the secretary of the research group will then give you further instructions for the next steps in the hiring process.
