We are interested in the development of synthetic methods and in their application in total synthesis. The following topics are currently investigated:

1987: Post-doct at the University of Texas at Austin (Prof. M.A. Fox).
1988-1993: maître assistant (Alfred Werner Fellow) University of Lausanne.
1993-2001: associate professor University of Fribourg
Since March 2001: professor of organic chemistry at the University of Bern.
