Current Research Interests
Molecular recognition of the nucleic acids in general. Synthesis and characterization of new, backbone and/or base-modified DNA-analogues for the complexation of single and double-stranded RNA and DNA by conventional design and combinatorial methods. Design and synthesis of catalysts for phosphodiester hydrolysis.
