Current Research Interest
The emphasis of our work lies in the design and synthesis of ligands and the choice of metal ions in order to produce defined molecular architectures from multiple subunits. As a consequence, our research involves a knowledge and understanding of all the synthetic aspects of modern coordination chemistry, as well as expertise in the study of molecular magnetic materials.
Another fundamental objective of our work is to design, synthesise and characterise new materials for which different physical properties such as magnetism, electric conductivity, optical properties etc. are combined in an synergistic way.
